Recipe Guide
- โ What type of bread works best?
Sourdough or rustic country bread provides a sturdy yet tender base that crisps nicely while grilling.
- โ Can I substitute burrata cheese?
Mozzarella can be used as a milder alternative, though burrata offers a creamier texture and richer flavor.
- โ How do I prevent sogginess in the sandwich?
Lightly butter the bread and cook on medium heat to achieve a crisp exterior without over-softening the inside.
- โ What seasoning enhances the flavors?
A pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper brightens the tomato and balances the creamy cheese beautifully.
- โ Any serving suggestions?
A drizzle of balsamic glaze adds tangy sweetness, while pairing the sandwich with a crisp white wine or sparkling lemonade complements its richness.
