# What you'll need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sourdough or rustic country bread

→ Cheese & Filling

02 - 1 ball burrata cheese (about 4.2 oz), drained and torn into pieces
03 - 1 medium ripe tomato, thinly sliced
04 - 8 to 10 fresh basil leaves

→ Spreads & Seasonings

05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Method:

01 - Lay out bread slices and lightly butter one side of each; these will form the sandwich exterior.
02 - On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer burrata, tomato slices, and basil leaves; season with salt and pepper.
03 - Top each with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing outward.
04 - Warm olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
05 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula until bread is golden brown and cheese melts.
06 - Remove from heat, let rest for one minute, then slice and serve immediately.
