Ingredients

  • Pasta: 200 g (7 oz) short pasta (e.g., rigatoni, penne, farfalle)
  • Oil: 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika: 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano: 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes: 1/2 tsp (optional)
  • Sea salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Ground black pepper: 1/4 tsp
  • Grated Parmesan cheese: 2 tbsp (optional, or use nutritional yeast for vegan)

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook Pasta:
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until just al dente. Drain well and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel.
Season Pasta:
In a large bowl, toss pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, chili flakes (if using), salt, black pepper, and Parmesan or nutritional yeast.
Bake:
Spread seasoned pasta out in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.
Crisp and Serve:
