I first made this tahini iced coffee on a hot afternoon looking for a way to jazz up my caffeine routine and was instantly hooked by the creamy texture and subtle sesame flavor

Ingredients

  • Coffee: 1 ½ cups (360 ml) cold brew coffee or strong chilled coffee
  • Tahini Blend: 3 tablespoons tahini (well-stirred) 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste) ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract Pinch of sea salt
  • Milk & Ice: ½ cup (120 ml) plant-based milk (e.g. almond oat or soy) 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare Tahini Blend:
In a small bowl or pitcher whisk together tahini maple syrup (or honey) vanilla extract and sea salt until smooth and fully combined
Fill Glasses:
Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes
Add Coffee:
Divide the cold brew coffee evenly between the glasses
Add Tahini Mixture:
Add the tahini mixture to each glass and stir well to combine
Top and Serve:
