# What you'll need:
→ Oats Base
01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk (dairy or unsweetened plant-based)
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla)
04 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
05 - 1 to 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or honey
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt
→ Fruit
08 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
→ Toppings (optional)
09 - Sliced almonds, for topping
10 - Additional diced strawberries, for garnish
11 - Drizzle of honey or maple syrup, optional
# Method:
01 - In a medium bowl or a large jar, whisk together the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until evenly combined.
02 - Gently fold the diced strawberries into the oat mixture to distribute the fruit without breaking it down.
03 - Cover the bowl or seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow the oats and chia to hydrate and thicken.
04 - In the morning, stir the oats. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk and mix until you reach the desired texture.
05 - Divide the oats between two bowls or jars and top with sliced almonds, extra strawberries and an optional drizzle of honey or maple syrup before serving.
