07 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
08 - 4 cloves garlic, finely minced

# Method:
01 - In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let rest for 5 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add melted butter, flour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until soft dough forms. Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
03 - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until combined.
05 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 - Punch down risen dough and divide into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a 10-inch circle.
07 - Place one dough circle on baking sheet and spread one third of the garlic butter filling evenly. Repeat layering with remaining circles and filling, ending with dough on top.
08 - Place a small cup at center of dough stack without cutting through. Cut dough into 16 equal strips radiating from cup. Twist two adjacent strips away from each other twice and pinch ends to form points. Repeat all pairs to create star shape.
09 - Cover the shaped dough with a towel and let rise for 15 minutes.
10 - Brush star with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan as desired. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
