# What you'll need:

→ Pita Chips

01 - 3 large pita breads
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

→ Guacamole

05 - 3 ripe avocados
06 - 1 small red onion, finely diced
07 - 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
08 - 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
11 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
12 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Method:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F.
02 - Cut each pita bread into 8 triangles and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
03 - Brush both sides of the pita triangles with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt and smoked paprika if using.
04 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp. Allow to cool.
05 - Halve the avocados, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash to desired consistency with a fork.
06 - Add diced red onion, tomato, minced jalapeño, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocados. Mix gently until combined and adjust seasoning to taste.
07 - Transfer guacamole to a serving bowl and serve immediately with cooled pita chips.
