# What you'll need:
→ Donuts
01 - 36 mini plain or glazed donuts (store-bought or homemade)
→ Decorations
02 - 2 cups powdered sugar
03 - 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
04 - Food coloring (red, green, blue, gold, silver, as desired)
05 - Sprinkles, edible glitter, or colored sugar
06 - Assorted candies such as mini M&Ms and silver dragees
07 - Mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks for ornament hooks
→ Assembly
08 - 1 large food-safe foam or cardboard cone, approximately 12 to 14 inches tall, wrapped in parchment paper if needed
09 - Toothpicks
# Method:
01 - Combine powdered sugar with milk in a bowl, adding milk gradually until a thick yet pourable glaze is achieved. Divide glaze into separate bowls and tint each with desired food coloring.
02 - Dip or drizzle each mini donut with the colored glaze. While still wet, embellish with sprinkles, edible glitter, and assorted candies to replicate Christmas ornament designs. Let set for 10 to 15 minutes.
03 - Cover the foam or cardboard cone with food-safe wrap or parchment paper to prepare for assembly.
04 - Starting from the base, affix the decorated donuts to the cone using toothpicks, layering upward with slight overlaps to fully conceal the cone.
05 - Insert mini pretzel sticks or chocolate sticks into the tops of each donut to represent ornament hooks or caps.
06 - Lightly dust the assembled tower with additional edible glitter for a sparkling effect before serving.
