# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like someone actually cares about your wellbeing, not like medicine in a cup.
  • You can make it in the time it takes to find matching socks, yet it feels like a ritual.
  • The warming spices naturally reduce inflammation without any fussiness or complicated steps.
02 -
  • Black pepper isn't just for flavor—curcumin in turmeric needs piperine (from black pepper) to be absorbed properly, so don't skip it no matter how small the pinch.
  • If you simmer longer than 15 minutes, the flavors deepen and intensify, which is wonderful if you love bold earthiness but can become overwhelming if you're new to this tea.
03 -
  • Buy your dandelion root from reputable herbalists or wellness shops where you can ask questions about sourcing and roasting—quality makes a real difference in flavor.
  • If you're sensitive to turmeric's earthy intensity, start with half the amount and build up; this tea shouldn't taste like medicine unless you want it to.
